After 12,000 rounds the Mil-Spec chrome lined barrel groups opened up 2.5 times larger than its starting base line and the HK experienced no degradation in accuracy. Furthermore, HK stands behind their new barrel so much, that the HK MR762-A4 7.62 AR-15 Rifle comes with a lifetime barrel warranty, so if you shoot out the barrel they will replace it for free.
